Files Widget and other Widgets not displaying

Hello

Maybe I missed something, but I do not manage to have the Files widget displaying in groups or events ("Group — Files" and " Event — Files" apps).
And the same for the widgets "Show Friends In Group" and "Show Online Users" of the app "Group — Groups".

Looks like there is some issues with the "widget" state on the database. Perhaps this was caused by an older installation. To fix this, I have executed the following SQL query,



update #__social_apps set `widget`='1' where `element`='groups' and `group`='group';


By the way, this is why, we prefer you to start a new thread whenever you encounter a new issue. There are several moderators working on your issues.

Hi,

I have apply some fix on your site. Now the files widget is displaying correctly. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/6Xahb2Jgam . You need to turn off and on for your application then re-save back the settings.

Hope I explained it well and hope this worked.

Maybe you missed it in my first message, but we have the same issue for the widgets "Show Friends In Group" and "Show Online Users" of the app "Group — Groups".

Hello,

Your site is password protected and I have no idea how to bypass this. When testing this locally, the friends in groups and online friend widgets area appearing fine as you can see here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-30_0224.png

All access information is in "FORUM TOOLS" > "Update Site Details" on my side. Regarding .htaccess protection, this is in "Other details".

Hey Altitudes,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The reason that the files widget isn't showing is because they are disabled in the app settings, http://screencast.com/t/2LyeKKnD6gwr .

I have turned this on for the app "Group - Files" and "Event - Files" and they show up correctly now
