Hi Guys,

Start playing around and catch up few bugs:

*** address map's ratio on large widescreen doesn't look good (too strech), any workaround possible so it doesn't look too ugly ?!
*** JTEXT "COM_EASYSOCIAL_THEMES_WIREFRAME_DASHBOARD_EVENTSS_LIMIT_DESC" error at index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=themes&layout=form&element=wireframe&activeTab=com_easysocial_themes_wireframe_section_dashboard

*** The language shortcode (JTEXT shortcode), with Falang (or language switcher), still causes error when switching language ***
Was addressed by Arlex in an old post, however it seems a permanent fix never followed!
a)/en/community/login.html -> https://www.aidjuris.com/fr/community/login.html == error
b) /fr/community/connexion.html == ok

*** 2 factor doesn't show up on registration with 2 profiles and no default even if enabled (in ES and plugin)
Hello Alexandre Cayer,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Regarding with your address map issues :
>> This will be fix in the next version of Easysocial.

Regarding with your two factor field issues :
>> we are already tested on your site and it is appearing properly. Please take note that this field will only appear on user profile edit page.

Regarding with the last Falang issues :
>> I have help you do the language overridden COM_EASYSOCIAL_ROUTER_ in your Joomla override folder -> JoomlaFolder/language/overrides/fr-FR.override.ini
>> Can you give it a try? It should be work fine now.

Hello Alexandre,

I have applied the fix for the missing translation "COM_EASYSOCIAL_THEMES_WIREFRAME_DASHBOARD_EVENTSS_LIMIT_DESC" . The appropriate language string it should be using is "COM_EASYSOCIAL_THEMES_WIREFRAME_DASHBOARD_EVENTS_LIMIT_DESC"

As for the map's ratio, I don't quite get you here. Can you please elaborate more on this please?

As for the issues with language shortcode, I am not really sure which thread are you referring to here. If you have already created a thread in our forums, please reply on that particular thread instead

The 2 factor custom fields requires that you enable the 2 factor plugin in Joomla. Is the plugin enabled?

Hi Mark,
For the address's map

For the language issue, the thread was: Langague Switcher issues (Falang 1.4)
The trick was updating the language file since the names from the language file are updating the router, however there must be a lock on those being use in the router when there is multi language so that we can still switch language.

For the twofactor

It is displayed to login but not in both registration... check site url community header and registration. doesn't display on both and I have enabled display on both for all options...

Hi,

Regarding the map issue, it could be a css conflict. I am not able to give you a specific answer for this as I will need to investigate directly on your site to confirm if it is really a css conflict or javascript issue.

As for the 2 factor field, have you added the field in to the profile form?

Please do provide your site's access.

Hello Alexandre,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, sorry but not really sure what issues do you still have with the language? Are you still having issues after replacing the language fix which I provided above?

Hi Mark,

Sorry, I wasn't clear, it's my bad. I meant the Language issue when we switch language. Not the JTEXT from admin.
Arlex provided a temp fix a long time ago but first, I don't know if this still could work and second if this could be of a permanent fix in next version since I am sure I won't be the first neither the last to use more than one language version with ES.

I'll wait for the map ratio and 2 factors with Jason.

Thanks

Hello Alexandre,

Can you please provide us with the link to the post? I am sorry but I have no idea what issues are you referring to here with the language switcher.

http://stackideas.com/forums/langague-switcher-issues-falang-1-4

If there is a default language (ex: en) and there is more than one language setup, the view shall not be translated as it crashed the language switcher.

Hey Jason,

I see that the user never connected on the site for the 2-factor issue and map issue. This is a brand new install with no hack except 2 files for password strength custom fields. The custom fields doesn't appear in registration stills.

Mark: Updates for view ?

Thanks

Alex

OMG Arlex, I feel so ashamed, the 2 factor was only on edit... I should have looked at the code geez before complaining

Thanks to know the map issue will be address.

The COM_EASYSOCIAL_ROUTER_ seems ok now. Could a permanent fix could be set, as a config option, to only consider one COM_EASYSOCIAL_ROUTER_ ( a lit bit like config-general-location-language code: ) so you set the one COM_EASYSOCIAL_ROUTER_'s language you would want to show as the URL and not consider the other one. I have get the override file for future use this time but since I'm not the only one providing more than one language, I think this could be useful for Stack's clients

Big thanks again
