I would like to be able to import Blog post feeds from other sites to display on my site, however I do not want to bring in or display the entire feed on my site.
I would like to be able to limit the text length by characters (ex. 300) and the number of images imported (ex. 1), ideally through the Feed Importer configuration.
I would also like to be able to set the Read More link for these post snippets to open in a new window and to the post source.
Finally, I would like to automatically assign the noindex meta tag to these posts to ensure that my site is not negatively affected in SEO ranking with Google and others.
I really like EasyBlog and feel the Feed Importer is a great additional feature. IMHO these additional features will help make it even better.

Hello Ed,

I'm sorry for the confusion earlier. My colleague thought that you were reporting an issue. What I can see here is more to feature request and it is advisable for you to add this into our Voices Page here: http://www.stackideas.com/voices/easyblog .

Thanks for understanding.

Thank you for the reply.
I have added this as a Feature Request as suggested, but hope that it will be considered more than just a request. The importer in its present form without these features potentially will result in websites using this feature to be negatively affected or even delisted from Google, as the imported content does not conform to Google's syndication recommendations as referenced here:
Google on: Duplicate Content
