Hello Support
If we will create a new event does not display correctly the start time in the stream (see attached screenshot).
We collect 07:00 PM and 7:00 receive clock (instead of 19:00)
Funnily enough, the end time will be displayed correctly (8 PM -> 20:00 clock)
What's going wrong?
Thanks for help!
Regards,
Richard

Ho Richard,

Hm, without direct access it's quite hard to tell what is going there. I just tried in my local instance with latest version of easysocial and it seems like the date and time is appearing correctly as it should. Check my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/mWK48tClrz .

Hi Ezrul

It's a problem in the file startend.php maybe.
The EndTime will working fine, but the StartTime show not the correctly time in the afternoon. The problem is the false convert process from 24h to 12h AM/PM.
Please check this, thanks!

Regards, Richard

Hi Richard,

Can you check your custom start format from your backend > easysocial > events > categories > select your category > custom field > event date time field > basic tab > custom start format, http://screencast.com/t/M3ktRQ3dfyU and see what is the value there?

Hi Ezrul

Here the screenshot. I can't save a new time-fomat because not all fields have been detected in profile.

Thanks!

Richard

Hi Richard,

Can you somehow copy your current site to a test server so we can check on this issue closely? Without direct access we are literally blind here.

By the way the code that responsible for the date event output is located at /administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/event/event.php at line 1757 where it will try to get the correct format there and it get the format from the language string inside your /languages/xx-XX/xx-XX.com_easysocial.ini.
COM_EASYSOCIAL_DATE_DMY12H="jS M, Y g:iA"
COM_EASYSOCIAL_DATE_DMY24H="jS M, Y H:i"

Can you check if the string translated correctly inside your current language file?
