Facebook - posts not public

Hi,

We have set-up Facebook in the backend of easyblog.

We write a blog post. From there click on the Facebook share button in the backend.

A success message is shown.

However, the post is not public on Facebook.

Any ideas?

May I know what do you mean by
the post is not public on Facebook.
If I understand you correctly, the issue is about the post shared to Facebook is private. I suspected that this issue is because of your Facebook setting. Can you provide us with backend access, ftp access and your Facebook access so that we can check and debug to be absolutely sure about this.

Please be advise.

You may want to double-check your Facebook Developer App settings for the app you have set to be used by EasyBlog. This was happening to me, too. I determined that the Facebook App must be set to be available to the Public under the Status & Review tab (first option at the top under Status). Once I did that, the posts show up for everyone. If that setting is switched to "No," then only I can see the posts on the timeline.
