Do you consider to update your easyblog 3.9 to easyblog 5 and see if that will fix the issue on your site?

No i do not wish to upgrade just yet. Is there any other resolution?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. We can't be doing this all the time for all of your sites but I have updated to the latest 3.9.x and successfully authenticated with your Facebook account.

It's best that you update your sites to 5.x since it works with the latest Facebook api

Thank you i do appreciate all of you help with this. We are having major issues and bugs with our websites when we update to the newest version of easy blog. I have sent in tickets in regards to these issues. Until we get these resolved we are not upgrading.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I believe the issue is occurring because you are using quite older version of easyblog 3.9 (not the latest 3.9) where the facebook API does not get updated in that version. If you are using easyblog 3.9 on the site, you can try download my attachment below and place it inside your /components/com_easyblog/classes/facebook/ folder and then try to re-authenticate again.

I have attempted that and it still did not work. We are not upgraing to Easyblog 5 yet because its causing conflict with other programs on our websites.

It is possible for you to provide me with the latest 3.9 version? Because i thought i had the current one?
