I have noticed this with some sites running in https (Secure).

I tried as a test on my site running 1.2.22 to Bookmark: https://www.modern.ie/ (Doesn't load an image)
Then on the Demo Stackideas site: http://demo.stackideas.com/ (The icon loads).

Bit odd.

If there are no images on the site or if the site prevents crawling of images, this could be problematic. I could help you test this if you could share the link that you are trying to share.

I hate asking for help here as I know how busy you are, but on my site, i'm trying to link to: https://www.modern.ie
and no images or Meta title etc load. I try load same link on your demo site and It works perfect.

I have replied you on your ticket but I would personally prefer that all communications are handled within a single location so that it would be easier to keep track of things

Anyway, I have tested this and it seems like for some reasons the external site that you were trying to share, seems to be blocking your server and that is why there is no contents returned.
