My website is being hammered to the point of being unusable by Apache calls to the helper.php for both EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss as noted in the below lines.

This situation has been developing over the past week at a time when an upgrade has been in planning. Currently running Joomla 1.5 and latest EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss package for that version.
