Can't get into this thread to ask for an update as it's been locked... so posting again with link to the thread...

Hello Andy,

It seems like the JDate library in Joomla is not working correctly for some odd resons. Using the ->modify('+1 month') returns the same month but using the Datetime library in PHP seems to yield the correct results. I have applied a temporary fix on your site until we find a better solution for this.

Hi,

This is fixed in the latest version. Are you still having this issue with 1.3.9?

Yes issue seems to remain with 1.3.9.... check the link I've added and try and go forward a month... just stays on the same month.

OK thanks Mark.... Just so I know is the temporary fix you've done within the EasySocial files on my site, or was it a wider fix that was needed (for example, to core Joomla files).

Hello Andy,

It's within EasySocial files in /components/com_easysocial/views/events/view.html.php

@Andy,

Sorry about this. I would like to add that there is known issue with timezone settings actually. Because of timezone mismatch and calculation, the day and month is slightly off. I'll revisit this and patch it up in the next version. (Timezones and datetime are not easy )

Yeah, I have the same issue. Try going forward a month with the following link: http://www.test.alpineascent.com/event/date/2014-08
Because it's blank, it won't let you.

@Andy I've applied a test patch on your site (that is supposed to go into the next version). Can you give it a try?

@Josh I would love to apply this test patch on your test site as well. (Not an easy patch though)
