Hello,
My site is : http://www.myvesinet.com
I have implemented a number of events with EasySocial. Now I encounter a redirect problem when a user logs on or logs from the Event page. Here's an example:
1 / Here is an event:http://www.myvesinet.com/l-agenda-des-evenements-de-myvesinet-le-site/element/36-diner-en-blanc-vesigondin-le-samedi-13-juin-2015
2 / I wish to attend this event: I click on the orange button "Participating in the event (in French in the text)"
3 / As I am not logged in or registered, I log in (or I register).
4 / At the end of the connection process or registration I am redirected to the Easysocial dashboard.
This is where the problem arises: why I'm not redirected to the page where I was when the connection? It's annoying because users must make the opposite way then register for my event.
Hello Lumbroso,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like I am not able to access your FTP with the provided FTP credentials hence I cannot provide the fix directly on your site. Can you download the attachment below and place both of it inside the respective folder path and see how it goes?
/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/

Keep us updated.

Hello Lumbroso,

It seems like the provided Joomla credentials is not working for me.

By the way can you try the following login redirection setting from your backend > easysocial > settings > users > authentication > login redirection to "stay on same page" and see how it goes? http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-21_0027.png

Hello,

I'm not quite sure what do you mean by the site in error. I've tried to navigate your site and perform the login test through popup box login and everything is working fine from my end. Am I missing something here?

By the way I can access your SFTP now.

When I put the two files in the location indicated, I got an error message on the site.
Have you put the two files?
If so, the redirection problem is still there.
Do you understand what I mean ??

Hi,

Perhaps you can check my video link here for a better view from my side. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-21_1524_001.swf

If the error or issue still persist, kindly explain in details and provide us some screenshot so we can check it directly. Please advise.

Thank you for that.

Here's what I found:
1 / When connecting to the site as in your video, no problems, redirection is correct.
2 / When connecting via the Facebook button, redirection is not good, I am redirected to the dashboard ...
3 / Now imagine that the user wants to participate in this event, but it is not saved: When the user clicks on the entry button, a popup opens (always the same as in the previous two cases) and offers to register. Therefore, it is redirected to the registration form it completes in minutes.
He then gets in his inbox with an activation code.
When he validated his registration was invited to connect.
But the problem is that at that time, it is not at all redirected to where it was when simply wished to participate in our event ...
Somewhat complex procedure not?

Hello,

I am sorry for the delayed response.

Ah you are mentioning about the Facebook login. Can you download the attachment below and place it inside your /components/com_easysocial/views/registration and see how it goes?

Hello.
Facebook for redirection, it's perfect.
Regarding redirection after a user account record, so I expect your return on it.
Last question: after all these changes when I go to the component updates, corrections will remain as they were applied ??
