Hello

When a member creates an event, I do not receive any mail asking me for the approval. Is there a way to do so or do I have to look on the backend side regularly to see if there is new group created?

Is it possible to approve automatically a new event for some members or even all members?

thanks
MARco
Hello Marc,

If an event moderation is enabled, when a new event is created on the site, the admins of the site would be notified. Can you check if those e-mails under the e-mail queue contains these e-mails?

I don't understand what you are saying ... An event was created by a member who is testing the site and the event was waiting for my approval and I didn't recieved an email on the main account RASF or on any account.

Can you tell me also how to disable event moderation?

thanks

Hi Marc,
To investigate the moderation email not being received, I would need your backend access. There could be some configuration issues causing a disruption when emails are being sent. Can you enable the account that you provided us so I can help you out with this?

Regarding your second question, it is possible to disable event moderation for profile types. You have to configure the ACL settings of your Profile Types so that when they create an event it does not require moderation. It is under Profile Types>selectProfileType>ACL>Events>Moderate Event Creation. Check out the description of the options to better understand them. There are also other ACL options you can configure in the Profile Types.
Hope this helps. Remember to enable your backend access for us and let us know if you want us to investigate the email sending issue.
