Is it possible to restrict who can post create and reply to new discussions? In order to control content, I would like just Admins to be able to create/reply discussions...thoughts?

You have to use Profile Types to configure the ACL for certain users. You can head to Profile Types page in backend, select the profile type you want to edit then configure the ACL settings there. You can also create new Profile Types and assign users to that profile type. Hope this helps.
Unfortunately, there are no settings to configure the ACL of the group discussion app in EasySocial. All group members within the group can create discussions or reply to them. However, modifying, deleting and some other actions for the group discussion will be available to the discussion owner, site admin, and group admin only.
