Hello, I am getting some errors when I click on certain menus such as sub menus in the user menu at the bottom of the page like the "site menu. Also I am getting errors in the forum sub menus such as my topics-I enclose 2 pics. Finally, I am having trouble updating the program and not sure why it won't work. I have tried both methods. Finally, I too have been subjected to attacks and I was hoping to disable my firewall for as short a period as possible. It is currently active for files.Hopefully you can let me know of you are available and I can disengage the firewall. Let me know if that is an issue
Hello Joseph,

These errors are probably caused by permission issues on the folders of your site. We can't fix this as this needs to be addressed by your hosting provider. You need to check with your hosting provider if:

1. If the webserver is run by the apache user, the folder ownerships should have write permissions by the apache user.

2. If the webserver is run by the ftp user, the folder ownerships should have write permissions by the ftp user.

Hello Joseph,

What errors do you get when you upgrade? I believe you are hitting the same permission issues as above. Once you get your hosting provider to sort out all these permission issues, the upgrade should be fine.
