The error previously reported in the locked post is back.:
http://stackideas.com/forums/bugs-with-eb-continue-this-time-with-post-preview

The error is exaclty the same; please simply refer to the post above.
Perhaps an EB update superseded the fix?

Please respond asap as we need this fixed for once and for all.
Cheers
Hey Gilles,

Which particular post are you editing and how did you replicate this? Did you modify this from the front end or the back end? I tried editing the post http://www.wonderlit.com/fairy-tale-blog.html , clicking on "Preview Post" does show me the correct page as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/NuTxbDkz

Yes, I used Departures as well... from the backend.
And for another account, the user doesn't get the 404 error at all but no preview. I believe the user said it just brings her back to the post.
We're using Firefox if this makes a diff.
I just tried it with the account I provided for you , with the departures post, and am getting the same 400 error.
The URL which is generating the error is:
http://wonderlit.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&view=entry&layout=preview&uid=105.144&Itemid=624
I hope this helps.

hey Gilles,

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

The reason why you hitting 404 error is because you haven't login in your frontend, so system will check if this current user haven't login yet, don't give this permission to preview the post.

To fix this, you have to login in your frontend as well. Hope this help.

Thanks, this worked.

Here are some suggestions for Stack Ideas to avoid such confusion and time wasted by you and your customers in the future:

1. Add a note either in the documentation, or better yet, on the backend screen alerting admins of this "frontend login" requirement"
2. On a side note, It doesn't' look like the documentation is searchable. If it is, it is certainly not obvious in the documentation area of the site as I couldn't find it. This should be prominent.
