Hello,

it seems that wrong profil url (erased profil - but url still in google) are automaticly redirected to dashboard... am i right ?
that is really good for seo

can i suggest to do the same for erased stream post ?
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0ab4a81sb7
Google see them as 404 for the moment, that is not good...
Could i suggest to inform search engine that is 410 and redirect to dashboard ??

Loïc
Hi Loic,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Thanks for your insight. Here I have attached to you a file, please download it and put it in your site here: .../components/com_easysocial/views/stream/view.html.php . Please give this a try and see if this fix the issue.

Hopefully this work.

Hello Loïc,

We'll see if we could include this in the next release because ideally, EasySocial reports a 404 because you should manage these 404 urls using 3rd party extensions on Joomla. This is actually requested by some of our customers as they want to handle these 404 errors rather than performing a 301 redirection

Hi,

404 means page not found and 410 typically means gone, as in the page is not found and we do not expect it to come back. I'm not sure what gonna happen because I never tried using 410 before. You can try put it in your site and see if this what you're trying to achieved.

Please do update us back.
