I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, you are not seeing the other text in your photo is because facebook actually cropped the image. Below is the image that we sent to facebook via autopost.

As you can see, the text is inside the photo but facebook cropped it. This is something we cannot control from our end

I've re-applied the changes and the placeholder image won't appear for the next autopost. Since this is modified only for your site, you have to make a backup of this file: ../administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/oauth/adapters/facebook/client.php and replace it everytime you update Easyblog in the future.
