Email when update is available

Is it possible to get a email either from you or from my own site when a update for your extensions are available? I use Komento and Easyblog and it would be nice to be notified when a update is available.

Would be nice if the Easyblog/Komento cron job could include a check for that and if it sees I'm using a outdated version send me a email.
