We really need an email validation field on the mini registration form in ES. See attached.

We are having too many issues with bogus, spam registrations...
Hi Andrew Gous,

You're welcome.

Yes, you can enable captcha from your backend > Easysocial > profile type > select your profile type > custom field > click and drag the `recaptcha` field in your registration form > click edit > view tab > Appear in Mini Registration - YES

But you need to make sure you have to register from Google -> https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin

After you registered, access your backend > Easysocial > application > find "User — Recaptcha" > insert secret key and public key.

Hope this helps.

Hey Andrew,

I have already logged this in our internal issue tracker so that in the future version of Easysocial it will require user to enter their email twice. However, this really would not solve your issue because spammers will be able to just enter their email twice. The best way to prevent spam registrations is to implement captcha on the form.

Thanks Arlex...

Priority at the moment is people entering the wrong email, but captcha might be a good idea. Can we enable captcha on the mini reg form?
