Hi SI Team

I am trying to edit the standard links in EB5 an have a couple of questions.

Please see the screen shot.
OK so the link that I paste into the link box plus stuff from the Site that is being linked. Right.
I have a couple of problems with this.

1) If there is no text being pulled I have yet to find a reliable/fool proof way to insert text after the event. Am I missing some thing.

a) I can click on the title and add text. i.e. change the title.
b) Can find no where to click to insert description
c) Can find a way to remove description. Please see screen shots 05/06

2) If the image does not get pulled as in Pro Tools First e.g. in my screen shot is there a way to insert the image manually?

3) Finally is there a way to get a Lightbox working for these images similar to the one on the Images.

Here is the post I am working on:

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/490-all-you-need-to-make-your-movie-for-free-01

If you want to see it on the front end please log in as it is set for Registered users only

thanks

Paul

ps with respect to (3) I do have this installed:
https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/
So if I could even switch to the JCE Editor even temporarily I could maybe get this to work!
Hi Paul,

It seems like this issue is only occur when there are no og:description or the description is empty when easyblog try to crawl the url provided. I've fixed this by adding default text inside the description area when the description is empty so that you are able to edit it later on, http://screencast.com/t/gWuadPaEL . This fix will be included in the next release of easyblog and the file that I edited is /components/com_easyblog/views/crawler/view.ajax.php.

Regarding on the using custom image inside the link block, unfortunately it is not possible currently to do so. I will try to log this into our codebase so that our easyblog developers can do something about this.

Hi Erzul

Thanks for the fix. I think it is important to get both of these things working even if the Sites being crawled have no material to be pulled.

In english we say that a chain is only as good as its weakest link and not being able to easily tweak link text or add pics if necessary really messes the formatting up. Just saying.

thanks for trying to find a long term fix

Paul
