I'm trying out EasyDiscuss at http://whazzat.org/forum.html

After logging in, how do I edit one of my previous posts?

TIA - Jeff.
Hello Jeff,

Ah, it's most likely that the ACL for the user group that you are on have the following items disabled,

- Edit Own Replies
- Edit Own Question

You just need to turn this option on and you will be able to edit them

Hello Jeff,

After logging in you should be able to see an edit button in the discussions. Are you not seeing them? This is how the button should appear when you are viewing your posts, http://screencast.com/t/EqaPXRXTah

Thanks Mark.

I changed the ACL for the "Publisher" group in EasyDiscuss. I now have the editor button when logged in.

However, I just noticed that the little "Edit" dropdown in EasyBlog is not displayed. (user Jeff1 is in the "Publishers" group, to which ALL permissions are assigned).

BTW: I had the same problem before with EasyBlog... but you guys fixed it. I recently updated EasyBlog... so maybe the fix you guys did on the last version of EasyBlog did not survive the update?

Anyway, can you take care of this here... or should I submit a separate ticket in the EasyBlog forum?

TIA - Jeff.

Hello Jeff,

Glad to hear your issue with EasyDiscuss have been resolved. It is best for you to create a new ticket so that this will make less confusion. And please do provide us with backend access and ftp access so that we can debug and apply fixes on your site. We need this access in order to investigate the root issue and resolve this issue much quicker.

If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us and please create a new ticket. I will mark this ticket as resolved.
Thanks again and have a wonderful day.
