Did you mean the popup alert on Komento when there is a new comment posted? If so, I'm sorry but it is not possible to do in Easydiscuss.

Aclaration:

- Komento system: When anyone write a comment, a notification mail go to admin email. Whitout Cronjobs. Easy and fast.
- Easydiscuss system: When anyone write in the forum, we need cronjobs to receive notifications in the admin emails.

I like the system in Komento, but not in Easydiscuss.

The reason why easydiscuss notification email system is based on cronjob is because easydiscuss contains a lot of notification compare to komento. In order to minimize the load especially with the large number of users, the email need to be processed at a specific interval one batch at the time.

What I can suggest you is to enable "Send email when the page loads" from your backend > easydiscuss > settings > general > maintenance, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-30_1124.png or reduce the interval of the cronjobs to 1 minute from your server. However be advise that this will cause heavy load on your site and might reduce the speed of your site.
