The delete button for a member to delete their reply is available but when pressed, nothing happens. I think I have ACL right.

I am also curious as to how you get icons and I get words instead. Is this a them thing?
Hello Fred,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I tried to login to the site with the provided login credentials but it doesn't seem to be working, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-28_0202.png

Can you please provide us with the following:

1. The user login credentials that is facing this issue
2. The super admin login credentials so we can verify the settings
3. The particular discussion with the reply that you are trying to remove
4. Lastly, the FTP access to the site.

Discussion 17 has a replay from CarolA. CarolA cannot delete her reply.

Hello Fred,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I did not get the FTP access to the site, can you please advise?

Also, where is "Discussion 17"? I don't seem to see any threads with such title on the site.

Sorry for all of the back and forth. The discussion is "How would you improve the landscape appearance and aesthetics of the overall community?". The reply that CarolA should be able to delete starts "First concentrate on fountain, front and rear gate areas and clubhouse areas.
Once an overall professional design plan is running, the front and rear gates, fountain area, as well as clubhouse . . ."

I may have just figured out the problem. When the delete button is pressed, a confirmation dialog box is opening at the bottom of the page (actually out of view.) The member will never see this and will just keep hitting the delete button.

Hello Fred,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Ah, it looks like the issue is not really related to the deletion but rather, your Joomla template is resetting the styling of the "modal" window. Hence, you don't really see the modal window at the bottom of the screen.

To fix this, I have added the block of codes below into the template's css file /templates/jsn_epic_pro/css/styles/custom.css

#discuss-dialog .modal {
position: absolute !important;
}

By the way, for some reasons the file http://ssrchoa.com/templates/jsn_epic_pro/css/styles/custom.css doesn't seem to contain my changes for some reasons. I have added the necessary codes via FTP already. Am I modifying the correct files?
