Xmap Plugin does not work with Joomla 3

error ...
			SQL=SELECT a.* FROM `preff_easyblog_post` AS a LEFT JOIN `preff_easyblog_team_post` AS b ON a.`id` = b.`post_id` WHERE a.`published` ='1' AND a.`ispending` ='0' AND ( (a.`private`= 0 ) OR ( (a.`private` = 20) AND ('825' > 0 ) ) OR ( (a.`private` = 30) AND ( a. IN (823,824,827,844) ) ) OR ( (a.`private` = 40) AND ( a.=825) ) ) AND a.`issitewide` = '1' ORDER BY a.`created` DESC LIMIT 20
Hello, please tell me. In xml version of the map plugin displays a double slash "http://act.ru//blog/tretya-zapis" folder before the blog. How to fix it on the single slash?

Hello Krawer,

Erm, I think we already fix this issue in the latest version. Can you give this a try and see how it goes. I have attach you a file: plg_xmap_easyblog_16_3.9.1_free.zip
Can you try install this and if this doesn't resolve your issue, can you provide us with backend access and ftp access so that we are able to assist you on this issue much quicker.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

It looks like this is still not fixed. I downloaded version 16.3.9.1 and installed it and get the same error originally reported (sql syntax error). After a few minutes debugging, I found the issue to be that the plugin uses the deprecated nameQuote() function on line 135 and 138 of com_easyblog.php. This is easily fixed by changing the function to the currently support quoteName() function. After making this change, the plugin seemed to work as expected. Can the official download for J3.3 be fixed for this?

Thanks,
Philip

Thanks Arlex. The version number on this file is lower than the one that I downloaded off your website and patched myself. Which one is better to use?

Thanks,
Philip

Hi Arlex - we tested the update and it seems to work fine, thank you! Do you think you can update the main download area as well, since the version we downloaded from their obviously didn't work at all.

Thanks,
Philip

Hi Ilya,

It looks like your account isn't tied up with any subscriptions on our site. Is there any mistake on our end? Would it be possible for you to contact us at https://crm.stackideas.com and provide us with the order reference and your username so that we can fix this up for you?

Hi guys, I had problems with the xmap plugin and easyblog 3.9 but managed to get it working in the end (even on OSmap).

But now I upgraded to easyblog 5 and none of your plugin downloads seems to work any more. Is there a currently working plugin please?

Our setup:

Joomla 3.4.4
OSmap 3.1.5
Easyblog 5.0.25

Thanks

Hi again, I just crawled the forums and found that the files in this post ( http://stackideas.com/forums/any-alternative-to-xmap ) work with:

Joomla 3.4.4
OSmap 3.1.5
Easyblog 5.0.25

I believe the key was the com_easyblog.php file provided by mark, which for reference was 34 Kb, as compared to other versions that didn't work that were 32 Kb.

Best regards,

David Anthony
