Hi.
Easyblog will not install onto my latest website.
It sems to just hang.
Can you have a look for me?
Many thanks
Peter
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I've checked in your site, it seems like you hitting `500 Internal server error`, I suspect the problem is actually because the "file copying" takes time and because your server is extremely slow in copying the files, it actually failed. The best way to fix this is to ask your hosting provider to look at the speed of file copying on the server.

By the way, I can try using install from directory method and see how it goes. But I noticed your php max_execution_time and post_max_size set too low value, can you consult with your webhosting provider to help you increase your site these 2 php value?

max_execution_time= 30 to 500
post_max_size= 8M to 50M

Keep us updated then once your webhosting already increase above 2 php value to higher.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I have been onto the hosting company which is UK2.NET and they have changed what they can on the server. Apparently the Apache timeout is set at 30 and it can not be changed.
They have also put a php.ini file in the public_html file so some changes can now be made orselves.
I did try to install the files again but again it just hung.
Can you try the other method. They did say they could install bigger files if needed but we can not.
many thanks

Great stuff. Thank you very much. It was unfortunate that my customer used a hosting company that is not very good.
Thank you for your help
