EasyBlog vs K2 or EasyBlog WITH K2?

I am about to build a site using a JoomlaBamboo template called Colourshift. I really want a simple blogging solution which leads me here to EasyBlog. I was also wanting some content enhancement and was thinking to use K2 since JoomlaBamboo provides K2 templates and support. I asked them about EasyBlog and the reply is that they are very impressed with EasyBlog but are not yet supporting in through their templates. They did suggest that EasyBlog has some nice templates included that we might want to use. So, I am hopeful that they will also support EasyBlog in their templates in the future.

My question is whether it would make sense to use K2 for content enhancement and also use EasyBlog or if EasyBlog provides enough content enhancement. I am really doing research now but want to make a decision soon.

I sure wish I could find a comparison of features between K2 and EasyBlog. One thing that really leans me towards using EasyBlog is the satisfaction that is apparent with EasyBlog support!
