EasyBlog URLs aren't generating correctly except on EasyBlog Component pages.

To isolate this issue, I installed Joomla 3.3.6, Easy Blog 3.9.19025, and Easy Blog Select List. Additionally, "Use URL rewriting" was set to "Yes" in the Global Configuration.

I created the "Test Category One" category (id 2) and the "Test Post One" post (id 2) which is in "Test Category One".

The right hand side of the attached sef.png shows mod_easybloglist correctly generating urls in the EasyBlog component page (see the Dev Tools select which shows "/easyblog/entry/test-post-one").

The left hand side of the attached sef.png shows mod_easybloglist incorrectly generating urls in a page outside of the EasyBlog component page (see the Dev Tools select which shows "/component/easyblog/entry/test-post-one?Itemid=101").

I have tried all of the different "Routing Type" options in the mod_easybloglist administrator module page, but they don't help.

It seems like this is an issue with EasyBlog.

Please advise.

thanks
Hello John,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

The above describes the routing issue happening on a clean install.

The issue is impacting my work on new.ptotoday.com

We are migrating http://www.ptotoday.com (Joomla 1.5) to new.ptotoday.com (Joomla 3)

new.ptotoday.com is still a work in progress, however the issue is visible there.

The community-home-top-right position displays the "From the Blog" and "Blog Categories" modules which are both not routing correctly.

You can see this position by going to http://new.ptotoday.com/community as a Guest.

NB. http://new.ptotoday.com/ptoblog shows "Blog Categories" routing correctly - The routing issue only occurs outside of EasyBlog component pages.

Hello John,

I have configured the module so that it uses the PTO Today Blog menu item as it's alias and it should use the proper item id now. By the way, the EasyBlog list module needs to be updated because it looks like it's using an older version. You can download the latest version from http://stackideas.com/downloads/modules
