Hello,

My site has just had a HUGE jump in 403's in webmaster tools and they look like:

component/option,com_easyblog/Itemid,504/ce4d2b392de579112ba36f9eba83bdde,1/lang,en/
etc.

VERY strange as I dont use EasyBlog (I installed it once a few years back but uninstalled it because of these urls)

I have checked database for easyblog and no inclusion there.
The folder name (component/) is stange as folders now are components/

I have recently changed from non-www to www and that seems to have returnd the problem.

Any thoughts on why these have now returned?

Greatly appreciated for any feedback on this strange one.
Hello Simon,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I believe Google is actually caching these URLs. If you have a site map, you could try re-submitting your sitemap.

Hi Mark, no problem; actually it was a quick reply (Weekend here too in Sweden)

I have requested folder removal via Webmaster tools (as I did 2 years ago) , but for some reason they showed up again.

Not sure what originally generated them.

I just thought I would check if you knew anything.

Thanks for your reply and have a great weekend.
