Updated to EasyBlog5.
Module "easyblog_latest" is tied in with BeutifulCK (bck_eb_latest_home_3d) module display for my front page.
I only want the latest post to be displayed. I'm getting 10+ which destroys my homepage.
I set the number to post as 1........ I'm out of tricks to try.
Hey Mark,

It seems like the module does not recognized all the settings set from the backend module. I also notice that the module is generated inside the joomla article content. May I know which article you are using in order to generate the module there?

Hey Mark,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as we are a little occupied with some development works earlier today. Can you provide us with the FTP access to the site please so that I can run some tests?

Hey Mark,

I've tried to access your FTP but it seems like the directory is empty, http://screencast.com/t/bPjfkRyFVj5f . By the way I notice that your easyblog latest blog module is following your easyblog pagination limit from your backend > settings > layout > pagination. Not really sure how that happen but I need to access your FTP to check it further.

I was having trouble getting into my FTP today also. I use FileZilla. I was able to get in by using the Site Manager under the file tab.
Encryption, "Only Use Plain FTP".
See if that helps. If not.... I'll set up another account.

Hi Mark,

That is the exact method that I used just now to access your FTP but it shows empty directory after that.

First question, were you able to get into FTP?

I'm not sure as to what you're asking above. The home page is not an article and has been set up using the J51 template parameters. I have one article associated with it for the bottom content and that is Home_2, but I don't think this is causing the error.

I'm going to try and load another Easyblog Latest module in some other area within the site to check the results.

Things are going from bad to worse. I'm now getting language translator faults errors and no matter what I try with the EasyBlog Latest module, I'm getting the same results.

I'm going to have to restore the site to an earlier state (one before EasyBlog 5) to hopefully have a usable site.

I was very hesitant about installing EasyBlog5 to start with and I should of tried it out on a test server first.

I did a restore of the site to before EB5. All issues with the module and my translate are gone.

Before trying EB5 again, I will use a test server. I think there might be some issues that still need correcting.
