Hi there
as the title says...
installe easyblog "latest module"
No matter what I set as width the module dont respond...

Please advise
Hello Steen,

I've checked your site and the latest blog module seems fine to me: http://screencast.com/t/y3QGFj3TyDTW . By the way, where did you set up the width? You might want to change it in the Themes>Blog Image. Set the width for module: http://screencast.com/t/cskLylS4mL . And make sure you click the Clean Image for every changes you made.

Hello Steen,

The setting in themes will overwrite the setting in module tab.

Hi guys. I made the image size changes in the template as suggested, but am not seeing this change reflected in the 'Latest Blog' module. I have width set to 250 and height set to 125. I clicked Clean Images, cleared site cache, and module does not have caching enabled.

I noticed it does work on my test site, but only by changing the dimensions in the module itself that Steen initially had set in the tab "Photo Posts". Changing in the template doesn't seem to matter. Anyway, on my test site, the image tag is getting this style:
style="max-width: 250px; width:auto;max-height:100px; height:auto;"

But on my production site, these are missing. I think maybe because the post on the test site is a regular image, and the post on the production site has a header image?

http://www.memorylaneinn.com, you'll find the module in the bottom right corner under the heading that says "Latest Blog".

Hello Jereme,

Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here? We need to check your setup to identify the cause. Please advise.

Here are the admin details, but if it requires a core file change, I just won't use this module, so you shouldn't need FTP access.

Hello Jereme,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have tried login to the administrator page but I cannot access some settings inside. Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/e0XsRVjZfIa . Can you upgrade our access to superadmin access because we need to check your setup to identify the cause? Please advise.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

You have admin rights, but I'm afraid I'm not willing to give superadmin rights.

How about you tell me what you would look for and I'll check for you.

Hello Jereme,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have just tried to access the back end of your site with the provided login credentials but I cannot seem to access EasyBlog's area as this is what I am seeing here, http://screencast.com/t/hN1qE0orbab . This is probably due to acl being restricted to super admins only.

By the way, the size of the image in the module is dependent on whether or not you are using a blog image for the blog posts. Did you use the blog image for the blog post or are you just embedding these images within the content of the blog post?

Thanks Mark. I've granted admins access to all the EasyBlog contents.

The particular image that is being displayed in the module is the blog image for the post, and not embedded in the post.

Hello Jereme,

Hm, yeah this is odd. It doesn't seem like it's resizing the image correctly. I need to access the ftp to debug this

Hello Jereme,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply, I missed your reply earlier There's something really odd going on at the site because this seems to be happening on the site,

1. After clearing the blog images cache

2. The file at http://memorylaneinn.com/images/easyblog_shared/2e1ax_elegantwhite_module_pppheader.jpg has a different size compared to the file that I downloaded from the FTP

3. The file that was downloaded has a different size altogether. Please see screen shot below.

Is there some sort of super cache going on in the site?

I do have the site on a CDN that also handles caching. I temporarily disabled it and the image is resizing now, thank you for pointing that out!
