Hi,
I want to disable the front-end blog creation.
I went to ES > Settings >> Layout and disabled everything..

https://nimbus.everhelper.me/client/notes/share/149259/fbdaXxLWLympnd7G3pxlPoZWtJDaLFa1/

https://nimbus.everhelper.me/client/notes/share/149260/hrhT7LCgKbMpgyHtaCNU9kJmdwaTDlMR/

However if the spammer knows the url, they are still able to write a post.

http://www.mysite.com/blog/dashboard/write.html

If the dashboard is disabled, this functionality should be disabled as well not just hide?

Another question:

Is there an option to moderate each post before publishing them?

I am using the latest version of ES and Joomla.

Thank you and looking forward to your reply.
Hello Ysabel,

It depends on which user group would you like to trust. If you want to disallow "Registered" users to create new blog posts, all you need to do is to access the ACL section at the back end of EasyBlog and disable the option "Write Blog" and "Publish Blog" for the "Registered" group.

Okay that worked.
By default it should be turn off because if the user is not aware that there is an option or possibility that someone can post blogs to your site, people think it is a security problem.
If i did not browse my blog, i will not see the blog post of the spammers trying to put alot of links into the article..

Hello Ysabel,

Well, in your case it would make sense but if we turn this off by default (Which we did in the older releases), customers were complaining that they do not have access to write or publish blog posts
