After i create a blog and push publish it goes to a blank page.
Hi Rodney... As they often do I suspect the StackIdeas superheroes will jump in and help here... but be aware EasyBlog is not yet 3.2 compatible... There's a few issues relating to this on the forum at the moment and so after solving this, you might find other things too..... Just letting you know in case back-tracking is a viable option for you until 3.2 compatibility is announced for EasyBlog.

Hello Rodney,

We are still investigating the issue but for now I have added a hot fix for you in the file

JOOMLA/libraries/joomla/table/table.php

There seems to be some issue with the addIncludePath in Joomla 3.2 where EasyBlog can't load the tables which is causing the fatal error We will continue to check this out and provide a proper fix for this.

Thanks!

Hi there to all,

I have a overall massive error with my website and upgrading to Joomla 3.2.

I don't know if it is my Yootheme Template, Zoo or any of Stackideas's extension because I have 4 of them installed.

Basically, once I upgrade to joomla 3.2, all my website's pages were blank (I have Easysocial menu module on each page).

Should I create an other post with this issue ? Do you think it is related to Stackidea ?

Thank you !

B.

Hello B,

We need to have a better look on your issue to see whether its came from our component or not. You might want to provide us your backend and FTP access so we can check out the issue with your site. Please advise.

Is the latest version of EasyBlog (3.9.15065) now compatible with Joomla 3.2? If so, is it recommended to upgrade EasyBlog first, then Joomla?

Hi Diane, Yes I think we're all good now on Joomla 3.2. I've been using it intensively for a few days now on Joomla 3.2 with no issues.... I did the Joomla upgrade first - then EasyBlog. Always back-up first, but I think you'll be safe upgrading now.

Hi,

I am using Joomla 3.2 and I have installed Easy Blog. The installation was successful but I can't see the main menu bar on the frontpage. Not sure what the issue is. Do you have any suggestions? Using a Joomlashine template jsn skypro.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Harold,

I can't access easyblog control panel to take a look at your settings because the user that is given is not set as admin, but im guessing this maybe because in Backend > EasyBlog > ACL > Public
the 'access toolbar' parameter is turned off.

Hope that helps.

Thanks:)

Well, that particular setting is configured properly. So I don't think it's that one but I think it is permissions based because if I log into the site as a registered user or admin it works fine. So the issue is permissions based.

You admin2 account is configured as an admin in the Joomla backend. Does the easyblog use Joomla user permissions or are easyblog users configured separate than Joomla users?

Hello Harold,

Then this is maybe a Joomla public user issue on joomla 3.2, please go to user manager and press the option button,
screenshot --> http://screencast.com/t/e0Uy6F45r
save and close the page.

Hope that helps, if problem still persist please provide us with the Joomla back end access as well as the FTP access so that I can check on the issues on your site?

Thanks:)

Hi

The download provided is file name com_easyblog_3.9.15155_paid_j2.5
When attempting to install the component, following the exact installation instructions for Joomla 2.5 via the link you provided:
http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/installation/installation-on-joomla-25 the process fails with the following error message:

----------------
Error
There was an error uploading this file to the server.

Could you please assist.
Thanks
