Hello,

What do I need to change so blog subscribers only receive 1 notification when a new post is published? Last time they got 2 emails within a minute.

(If you have to test by posting, please tell me first so subscribers don't receive email.)

Thanks.
Hey Gary,

I tried accessing your site and it looks like the option "Send emails on page load " is enabled. This is a pretty common issue that leads to duplicate emails being sent out. I have turned this off and you should rely on cronjobs instead.

You can refer to the cronjob guide at http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/cronjobs

Your link doesn't really say how to setup the cron job to send out the emails. Do you have an example for us so we aren't reinventing the wheel?

Thanks.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Based on this documentation link -> http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/cronjobs is actually refer on what server you using, for example : if you using Directadmin hosting, then you have to take a look of this documentation : http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/cronjobs/cronjobs-directadmin and setup the cronjob in your server.

Yes, it would be best if you can provide us with your cpanel access.

You can put your cpanel access into first post > edit the post (click the edit button (screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/HDtbfwXD34 )) > put into optional information field.

Hello again - we still haven't heard from you about getting the cron job setup. Your instructions are very unclear to us. Can you please just do this for us?

I send you our cpanel login - did you get it okay?

Thank you!

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I already help you setup cronjob in your cpanel, you can refer on my attached screenshot.

The cron will process 50 email for every 5 minute in your site.
