I would like to see a list of archived posts like in Front Page, but there is no option to select Archived post. Also I like to see posts in Image Wall like format, again no option to select Archived posts. How can I achieve this?

The only option i see it a list of archived post which does not help us to display in a nice format
Hi Abraham,

Unfortunately it is not possible to include archived posts in the image wall module or the other layouts.

I am amazed. With so much functionality you only offer a minimalistic report of archived posts? I hope you will consider making nicer options available soonest.

Hey Abraham,

Blog archives typically have a compact/minimalistic layout to provide ease for users to navigate old posts(example), which is why EasyBlog's archive page has a minimal layout.

Can you provide us some examples on the 'nicer options' that you are referring to?

Like mentioned prior, the FrontPage layout is attractive, as is image wall...the problem with just the list is that people cannot see much no image not intro etc. a visitor is not going the step through blogs that way.

Hey Abraham,

That's the idea of an archives page. It's not to appeal to new visitors but to provide long time visitors more content.

Users that visits the archives page are those that are already familiar or have read the blog's latest content(frontpage). They could be subscribers or an audience that love the content and wants to read more by going through the older posts. With this in mind, the minimal layout will not hinder what they are looking for.

If the layout is still your main concern, you should unarchive those posts so that they can be included in the other layouts/modules.

Well the idea that people are familiar, beats me. We all have different audiences at different point in time. I understand what you stated, but totally does not deal with our issue. We do no want archived posts on our Front Page, those are for active posts. It seems to me that some additional functionality on your part would provide your customers with more options. I would like to request this from you.
