Disable stream posting in groups

Hi,
i am trying to disable the stream post on groups, i want to use discssions only.
i'd tryed to disable the following apps but i see always the stream post box :
Storry, share, news, feeds

Unfortunately we do not have settings to turn off this.

But you can try download my attachment file and replace in JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\themes\wireframe\story\default.php and see how it goes?

Hi Arlex,
i guess this will disable all the stream post feature ?
i am looking to disable it just for groups !

May i know did you test it yet?

Regarding my hack is actually what you want to achieve with your current requirement.

sorry i didnt test it yet, i just see the url which not contain "groups" tag (com_easysocial\themes\wireframe\story\default.php)

i will test it and tell you,

You're welcome

Unfortunately we do not have this feature to restrict group member submit new stream in the group yet.

So you have to backup this file in the future update.

But it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this in our voice page -> http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial , so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.
