Disable joomla comment system

I've installed Komento Pro. I have several pages where I do not want Komento on the page, such as the contact form page and about us page. I go into Komento settings and deselect the categories for those items. But when i go to the page, the Komento comment system is not there but the joomla comment system i'm guessing or K2, not sure which is present now. Is there a way to disable the installed joomla or K2 comment systems, so no comment form is present in any way?
