As of ES 1.2.8 you can disable stream items from being created when you edit your profile, but not when you edit a group page. As a meticulous person, sometimes I have to go back and make a few more corrections to a page. Now you can see my profile is filled with group edits.

I could see how group edits being documented would be a good thing in some communities. However some of us don't need stream items generated for this. Especially if we only have group admins to people we trust. I'm proposing an option to disable generation of group edit stream items. This would not only save some of us clutter and space, but would also be consistent with the profile configurations.
Hi Josh,

You can actually hide the group update stream from your EasySocial user - groups app. Go to EasySocial backend under application -> user - group and in the app edit page, disable the 'updated group' stream option. Please see http://screencast.com/t/uQsp5zcLP

Hope this help and have a nice day

Thanks Sam, that solved the profile part. After looking through the apps I could not find an option to disable generating a stream item on the group page itself. I take it this option doesn't exist?

How do I remove my post on the stackideas forum? I accidentally made a reply in this thread which was intended for a completely different one. This post is the one by the way. Seems that the new site has disallowed deleting posts.

Login info is attached to this post. Is this a issue that effects all users (non admins) or specific ones?
