Hey all

Wondering if anyone can advise the best way to push from development to live site when making updates to easy social?

I am most used to working with standard sites where new content is scheduled so just taking a back up of the live site, restoring it to a development url making the changes and then copying that back over to the live site.

But with a social network the content is constantly updated so this process doesn't work.

Any advice appreciated

One method I've seen deployed is to take the site into offline mode during the lowest traffic hours. An advanced notice can be published via a module on the front page.
