what i am wanting to do is have a content webpage but as a app, with a link in the applications area click it and it loads my whatever.. hope that makes more sence ( i already have the pages i want to add, just not sure about said app stuff.. )

May i know which documentation are you felt confused when you developing your own apps in Easysocial?

the whole thing just confuses me, being a 100 % noob lol yes like your screen shots there's a nice blog link there, and when ya click that a nice page comes up with whatever i'd like to do the same, but with a html page or something

Don't worry for this, I believe everyone also tried hard start from 0% learning for new thing.

May i know did you try download this sample apps file and take a look of the documentation from -> http://docs.stackideas.com/developers/applications/getting_started

Also you no need to worry about this "for example if i clicked blogs apps filter, it would go to the blogs thing)", because once you created your own apps and that apps is can installable, then Easysocial system will auto generate your apps and display on your dashboard/profile page. Check my screenshot below.

Of course, my "arlexapps" apps is not built complete yet just for described about the process, when you click on the apps, system will check which file should be load and display the content on your right content area.

ah i see.. ya makes a little more sense i learning as i go type of deal, so thank you for all your amazing help... i'll keep ya posted on how i get on, i will most likely have more questions
