Could you recommend me some hosting companies with a proper support?

Hello Guys,

I have a VPS account on Hostgator and have some serious problems with them. I consider that they have no support at all. I dont understand why they place so much advertisement everywhere if they will not keep present clients happy.

So, could you recommend me any proper service provider with a good support? I want to buy VPS with WHM and Cpanel.

Does anyone have an experience with DreamHost?

I have no experience with Dreamhost but moved to SiteGround from Hostgator over a year ago and have not had any issues, the transfer was very smooth and support is first class (just like on Stackideas) with detailed tutorials also available.

This may help as an initial guide from their site.

Note: I am not affiliated with them in any way, just a normal customer.

I agree with Richard - I had a VPS with HG and moved to SiteGround. Great support and service.

Thank you all for comments and suggesstions I think to pick SiteGround or Linode. But Linode may not be a suitable option for me, as it seems to me that it is a little bit complicated, like only for tech-savvy developers.

Linode is 100 times better than SiteGround, but yes, it is more for tech savvy people. If you want something that requires less tech savvyness I recommend MediaTemple.

That is correct. However, it is way better than GoDaddy. For a VPS that comes pre-configured with Plesk and everything. I actually do like MediaTemple. But yes, they do have a bit of the GoDaddy upselling which I hate.
