In the profile view the country field do not appear although the settings pretend this - see screenshot. Is this a technical issue?

Hello Martin,

Thanks for updating us on this. Looks like there's a bug when you choose "Multilist" for the country field as it isn't displaying any countries on the profile page. This will be fixed on the next release.

Hello Martin,

It is because you are using maps version. As you can see in my screenshot here: http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-01-27_1030.png , I've turned off the Maps and all the fields are displayed.

I see i uploaded the wrong screenshot. Again my question. In the profile view the country field do not appear although the settings pretend to display this field in the user's about section - see screenshot. Is this a technical issue?

Hello Martin,

The field should be displayed if you choose to display them. Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here?

Okay, for the new registered user AAA the country field appears in the profile view. The problem is still exists for all other existing users. In the profile view and edit profile view the country field do not appear.

Hello Izzan,
Can you look also into an other issue? If i use the search field for searching existing profiles, for example PAMMENT BARBARA or PAMMENT, the profile names apears... but the links does not lead to the profile views. Also the search results contain deleted user profiles and photos. What is wrong with the searching function?

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have checked your site and it seems like it is working as it should be. The country field is displayed when editing the profile: http://screencast.com/t/Bo1i8bxG . Am I missing something here?

Regarding your issue with search field, you need to go to smart search, delete all easysocial indexed, and re-indexed it back. This should fix this issue.

Hello Martin,

You can access smart search module by going to your joomla backend > components > smart search
Click on purge or select ES indexed data and delete it one by one. After that run the Re-index.

Hi Martin,

Please go to Components > Smart Search. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/CtNJYs25D . You need to filter all EasySocial indexed, and delete them. After that, you need to re-indexed it back by clicking Index button at top left or otherwise EasySocial can't search anything.
By the way, please make sure that all EasySocial Smart Search plugin is enable.

Thank you so much. I could resolve the issue with the search function.
The country field appears now in the profile view. I had to change the Selection type from Mulitlist to Dropdown. If on Multilist the country field do not appears in the profile view.
