Recently purchased PayPlans for use on our site. It has the option to either:

1) Change ES Profile Type
2) Assign Easy Discuss Badge

That presents two problems:
1) Only have one ES profile type - would be open to duplicating it and then adding/modifying, but there is no copy function - so would have to rebuild an entire profile.
2) Easy Discuss badges are not discovered by Easy Social, therefore they do not display on ES profiles.

(Perfect world: User subscribes, gets an ES badge and a special profile type.)

Need to implement this in order to funnel new users into the subscription system.

Also, why not just change the profiles CSS rather than the entire ES template for profile types - i/e paying users get a cooler color, larger font, etc.

I am sure this will need clarification, feel free to ask! Looking forward to your responses.
Mike

(Also - No FTP on server for security reasons - Extension provided)
Hello Mike,

I'm sorry but I'm a bit lost here. You did mention that Payplan allows you to change Easysocial Profile type, then you can use this approach since you can create more than one profile type in ES.

Need to:
1) Copy current profile settings into a new one.
2) Display Easy Discuss Badges on ES Profile.

Hello,

If you edit a profile type, there's an option that allows you to "Save To Copy". As for EasyDiscuss badges, do you mean you are not able to discover these EasySocial badge rules for EasyDiscuss?

I have just checked your site and the badges for EasyDiscuss are actually listed in the EasySocial Badges area, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-08_1427.png . Can you please elaborate more on your issue?

They do not show in users ES profile, or on the badges page. It's like they are not connected.

Hi,

I am sorry for the late reply. It seems like it is working as it should be. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/lpJUkgrMccoQ . I believe the reason why there is no user achieved EasyDiscuss badges is because the frequency limit is high: 100. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/jjUnEfy1Pm .

Hope this helps.

I agree that the thresholds are high, and will adjust them; however, it still does not show the badges assigned by Easy Discuss on the users ES profile.
Badge Exists & is added to user:

User's ES Profile - Shows no achievement / no badges

Reason I need this to work: PayPlans can assign a badge ONLY via Easy Discuss, not Easy Social. Premium members get this badge.

Hi MD,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Actually I can't view some of the file in OSE Fileman. We need the FTP access in order to assist you further on this issue.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused and please advise.
