I recently renewed my subscription to EasyBlog .I've imported all the articles , but am at a loss how to actually configure things so that Easyblog actually controls the web interface .so far , the site looks just as it did before installation.
If I make an article - 'Featured ',it appears on the home page,if 'blog',it appears on the blog ,if both , it appears on both.
On the joomla blackend , I created subcategories under blog , but I can't use them , as as , either I use blog ,or another category.
So what is the step by step procedure to have easyblog control the layout.
thanks ahead for any help.
Hello Stuart,

Thanks for your recent renewal and support for the project! The reason that you don't see EasyBlog on the page is simply because your menu items are all linked to "Joomla Articles".

To configure Joomla to render EasyBlog, all you need to do:

1. Edit the menu item for your home item (Assuming that you want EasyBlog on the home page)

2. Change the menu type to EasyBlog Frontpage.

3. Save the menu.

4. Refresh your front page and look at the result

You could repeat the step above if you want EasyBlog to appear under your "Blog" menu. If you want, I could do this for you too but would need the green light from you
