I have updated from EasyBlog 4 to version 5.0.25. All the comments made in the previous version are there and I can see them in the dashboard, but they are not shown in the blog itself. If I click on the comment in the dashboard I get to the correct post, so the link is correct. Any suggestion on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Kfir,

Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here?

Hi Nick,

Unfortunately, my IT manager refuses to allow me to give this information. We had several issues with malicious attacks done via EasyBlog components and he has enforced a very strict security policy as a result. However, I can send you (privately) any screen grab that you may need to look into this, if you will let me know what is needed.

Thanks,

Kfir

Hi Kfir,

Hm, without direct access to your site is quite hard to determined the real reason that causing this issue. Can you check the following settings below and see if it configured correctly?
1) backend > easyblog > settings > comments > general > enable comments, http://screencast.com/t/NpDdic1sd .
2) backend > easyblog > settings > comments > integrations > built in comments, http://screencast.com/t/CwCvZjTYw .
3) backend > easyblog > settings > layout > post options > comments, http://screencast.com/t/XCd2VfZG .
4) backend > easyblog > ACL > select user group > comments tab, http://screencast.com/t/hwBckzlu4gBL .

Hope these helps and keep us updated if the issue still persist.

Man thanks, Ezrul, that did the trick ("Built in comments" was "No").
