I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I am really sorry but I am afraid there's no way to actually filter this unless we hack the module file very massively

Actually, a workround, which I would have thought would be simpler, would be to allow inclusion and exclusion of some tags on a module level basis. There are certain tags that will only be private and others which will only be public. It's a pain to have to keep track, but we could make it work.

Great, thanks! I'll have a play. The other field to have would be "allow only". For example, I have tags for importance of a blog. If I could limit to just those, I could use the tags like a structured field and easily only show the relevant ones.

I added the tags that I wanted to exclude (using comma separation, is that correct?)
