Changing Alias after copying blog

Hi,

I am sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. I use the Copy button to create new entries that are similar. However the alias just appends '2' to the original alias. I can't seem to find how I can change the alias on the updated entry.

Hi Linda,
The permalink edit section is located just below the post title in the composer view. Refer attached screenshot for reference.

Thank you for your reply. I don't have the permalink edit section showing. Is there something about this entry that I have to change? I tried updating the title to see if it would appear and that didn't work.

Hey Linda,
You should make sure that the "Allow Editing Permalink" option is enabled. The setting can be found at Settings>General>Composer>Composer Settings. Let me know if that works. Thanks.
