I have a few users who need to utilize JCE and not the EB5 composer. I can change this setting in the authors area, but EB5 composer keeps coming up. If I change in Settings > General > Composer to JCE, it ill work but it changes all authors composer to JCE which I do not want. Help???
In the earlier versions of EasyBlog 5, we actually allow this configuration but it seems like too many customers were complaining about the confusions of this. Hence, we have decided to remove this functionality altogether. The only way right now is for you to configure the editor site wide under Settings > General > Composer.

So it is no longer possible to choose a composer for each author? Can this be turned back on? I have about 100 authors and 3 need to copy and paste from word document into EB5 keeping the word formatting. This works using JCE but not the EB5 composer. Any ideas??? Need a solution for the word copy and paste.

Hey Ryan,

Unfortunately right now it is no longer possible to have a different editor for different authors What I would strongly advise you to do is to copy the contents from Microsoft Word into a notepad or any other simple text editor, and then paste it back into EasyBlog.

The problem is we want the word formatting. Font size bolding and a table... So paste into notepad would lose the formatting. Is there any way around this for these users? As I said the majority use EB composer just a few need to post by pasting in from word... Just a thought is it possible to email the post to EB 5 and the email contains the different formatting? I just need to find a solution.

I am open to other solutions... Just that changing the composer per aithor seemed to be the best.
