Sorry for my english.

My environment: Joomla 3.3.6 - Community Builder 2.0.7 - CB Easyblog plugin 3.9.2.

After installing in the plugin management i see an error message:: "This plugin is not compatible with your current CB version. This plugin may still be used, but it may not function properly."

This leaves me undecided whether to buy EasyBlog or CBblog.

In the web and your site i can not find information on this issue and the real integration between EasyBlog and CB.

Have you tips, please?
Tanks

Hi Cristiano Sias,

Sorry for late reply to this,

May i know do you have install Easyblog in your site yet?

If yes, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can take a look of this?

If no, can you provide us with your Community Builder 2.0.7 installer so that we can try in our locally and see is it work?

You also can send through my email address -> arlex.wong@stackideas.com

"Ciao" and thanks for the displacement of the post.

I did not know the rule can only see posts and not responses in the category EasyBlog.
I do not understand a lot actually.

But that's okay, i have not ordered before EasyBlog because first wanted to be sure of compatibility with CB. I am developing the site locally so I can not give you an FTP access. But i can give the installer CB attached.

I just know that everything should work. Thank you for all links and references, i already feel calmer.
See you soon!

Hi Arlex,

very well, had news that was investigating the problem in the other post, I reported it on http://www.communitybuilder.it. I look forward and keep an eye on the situation.
It is not the first problem that we find on CB 2.0.7.
Thanks for everything!

Best Regards
Cristiano

I am also seeing this issue with CB_easyblog not being compatible with the new community builder. Will this be rectified?

Hello Cristiano,

Regardless of this message, the plugin would still work If it isn't working for you and you have a valid EasyBlog subscription, please create a new ticket accordingly and we'll look into this for you.

Hello Mark,

yes, this is what he says the error message in Italian, which
"It could be used but may not work properly." We talk on communitybuilder.it for some time.

So...i uninstalled the plugin, updated in Community Builder 2.0.8, verified the Data Base and reinstalled the plugin CB EasyBlog 3.9.2, but the result is the same. (Hence the photo in Italian it is the same)

So you say that I worry too much, and that with the purchase of EasyBlog we can fix any problems?

PS: and - so sorry - I do not want to be boring, but here we have a plugin that a month say it needs to be updated and you answer me that I have to buy EasyBlog order to receive support? It does not seem serious ...

I will buy if I am sure of compatibility.

At this point, are two possibilities: either you take me for a fool, or pretend not to understand.

Too bad. I do regret having bought also Komento.
It means that I will solve the issue with them:

Hello Cristiano,

Firstly, I do apologize for the confusions caused. The screen shot which you have sent is an "EasyBlog Community Builder" plugin and you have a Komento subscription, so I am not really sure what your question is all about? Do you have EasyBlog installed on the site? If you don't, you don't need this plugin.

If you do have EasyBlog extension installed, then the blog plugin for Community Builder would work. If it doesn't, we can help you check on this but you do not have a valid subscription to EasyBlog.

Just in case there are any confusions, EasyBlog is a different product than Komento. It's a separate product altogether.

Please let me know if there are any confusions here.

Hello Mark,
thank you, and thank Larry Kaiser, now we begin to understand. The problem arose from reporting incompatibility of CB 2.0.x (speaking of plugin, not the absence of EasyBlog).
Given also the unsatisfactory answers to Joomlapolis, combined with those of CB Italy saying that the plugin is to upgrade, did not understand anything.
They were to convince me, but you see i was right to doubt. I had other confirmation of this problem by others.
I want to buy EasyBlog. But first you'll have to fix this plugin.
See you soon!

Cristiano

At this time, I no longer have this plugin installed. According to the Community Builder install, this plugin is no longer capable and leaving it there could cause issues, so I removed it.

I am now running CB 2.0.9 and Joomla 3.4.1

Thank you

Hello friends, thank you, i confirm myself, in the local i upgraded to Joomla 3.4.1 and CB 2.0.9 and the situation is the same. I did not uninstall the plugin, not a problem on the rest, but CB continues to report it as incompatible.

Thank you, this works great. Can you please tell me how to get it into the main tab menu of the CB profile though? I cannot seem to get it there. Each setting has it below the main profile.

Thank you
