Category post option settings to "hide" both social buttons and ratings for the post associated with my category 'Institute' do not over-ride the EasyBlog global system settings. See attached screen capture showing my configuration.

Please provide fix.

Todd
Hi Todd,

I've updated your easyblog to latest version and hopefully that will fix some of the issue that you are facing previously.

Back to your initial issue, it seems like you have created single category menu item from your joomla menu manager, http://screencast.com/t/d3IoVwlULF . Hence your category frontpage layout will follow the settings from the menu item specified as you can see from the screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/o1gKLJkB . I've helped you to disable "ratings" and "social buttons" from your frontpage view and it should working correctly now.

For your entry view, it seems like just like I mentioned previously there was some issue with single category settings does not functioning properly before the update. After I've updated your easyblog the settings is working correctly now.

Hi TKABE,

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?

Hi Todd,

It seems like you are using older version of easyblog. We have addressed a lots of issue in our latest version of easyblog 5.0.19 and you might want to upgrade your easyblog to the latest version to avoid any possible issue that might occur in your current version and possibly fix your current issue as well.

If you don't mind I can perform the update of easyblog to latest version on your site.

Hi, Ezul,

Thank you! I have reviewed the results and have two questions:
1. It appears from my screen capture first submitted, I was attempting to make use the category to de-select social share and ratings rather than the entire blog as shown in your screen capture. Does this mean that selecting to hide these items in the category configuration does not work and can only disable/hide for the entire blog as you show?

Second questions, I do not see an option to select more than one category in a filter blog view. I see all pages or single page but not multiple pages. The single page selection dialog appears to be capable of allow the user to select multiple categories yet this feature can not be used.

Following your instructions I set social buttons and ratings to hidden.
See screen capture attached.

Thanks for your excellent guidance!
