HI
I would like to change the look of the Categories Menu .
Current one looks little confusing.
Any chance to get it in two or more columns?
Thank you
Hello,

You could just use css to customize it into 2 layouts rather than needing to modify any html files I am really sorry but we do not have a 2 column layout by default currently.

Hello Vlad,

Please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easyblog/themes/default/blog.categories.php. If it doesn't help, you can provide us your backend and FTP so we can add it for you.

its better, still little confusing. But what it has now is 1 and 2 above each box (which is not necessary).
If it would be possible to have each item on a new line, it would be perfect.
Thank you Nick

Hello Vlad,

I'm sorry about the header (1 and 2). Forgot to remove it. Here is the new file. By the way, what do you mean by each item on a new line? Please advise.

Thanks!
By columns I means, each item would start on a new like, but rather than having one long colums, have say three or more (as you can do in the Word). Do you know what I mean. So its easier to read the text, which would be in alphabetical order (as it is now).
Thanks a lot!

Hello Vlad,

Did you mean this items? http://screencast.com/t/1cUofkehIret . If this, it is a bit tedious to customise. This is because the listing is generated in php file.

By the way, I am really sorry but we are actually quite tied up with our own internal development and we wouldn't be able to assist you with these customizations right now If this is a priority, please do post them on our sales section at https://crm.stackideas.com and our sales department would get back to you with a proper quote.

Hello Vlad,

You can just include this post URL in the email. They will response back to you with a quote.

Sent them email.
But, dont you think that language separation should be included in the settings without customization charge.
What Im trying to achieve is that categories in different languages should be showing in different language modes. Thinks its common sense.
Thanks.

Hello Vlad,

Thanks for the suggestion. However, good news for you. Language option for category is already pushed in Easyblog 5 development.

Hello Vlad,

This language option will be included in Easyblog 5 which we will release it soon. You have to wait for it. And also I believe, Mark already reply to your ticket in https://crm.stackideas.com about your customisation.

If you are referring to the language for categories, it will be included in EasyBlog 5. However, the rest of your requests are not added in EasyBlog 5 and they are actually customizations.
