recaptcha isn't working or is sporadically working. It either shows up blank or doesn't show up at all. It is working in things like Kunena and K-2
this seems to be occurring on my unsupported site as well. There the recaptcha comes up for the mainregistration page supplied in photo but my modules for easy social registration have no captcha let me reiterate that due to attacks on my site, I have been leaving fire wall protection on for my files. It's very buggy

Hello Joseph,

Can you please elaborate more on your issues please? Do you mean that you want the recaptcha to appear in a mini registration view?

If it's supposed to,yes- normally, any registration module sends you to the main registration page. When it does, there is no recaptcha there. Also, I have trouble locating the recaptcha setting in the back end for easy social

Hi Joseph,

May I know is your issue is resolved? And regarding your issue:
I have trouble locating the recaptcha setting in the back end for easy social

You need to enable recaptcha apps in EasySocial in order to use it. You can find it here: Backend > EasySocial > Applications > Recaptcha. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/s4DzglBldHFA . After setting up this, next you need to include recaptcha in your EasySocial profile. To set this, you need to you to: Backend > EasySocial > Profile types > (profile) > Custom Fields > Recaptcha. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/lmT7nM8xeFe .

If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hello Joseph,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Can you provide us with backend access and FTP access so that we can assist you on this issue much quicker. We need the access in order for us to identify, debug and apply the necessary fix in your site. It is hard for us to guess the issue if we didn't have the access.

Please advise.
Thanks.

Joseph, in the meantime use chrome dev tools or firefox firebug and liad your page. You may see what files are being blocked or maybe some errors.

On a sidenote, googles new no captcha recaptcha is awesome

@Ryan there's a free plugin by Techjoomla that supports it. Maybe stack ideas can turn this free GPL into an application?

Looks like I found a workaround. I uploaded the Wanderer template and linked that to the community login page. This also seems to work directing the menu module logins to the Wanderer template.

According to the article, TechJoomla is trying to make it become apart of the core of Joomla which sounds pretty awesome. If such a thing was added, perhaps EasySocial could take advantage of something already existing in the core of Joomla.

Hello Joseph,

I have tried to access your site with the provided login credentials but it's not working. Are you still having issues with Recaptcha? The FTP doesn't work either.

yea, like I said, I got attacked and started keeping my firewall on- Seems to be a template issue with the core template in Joomla- Using the Wanderer template for registration solved the problem

Hi Joseph,

If you have identify the root issue, perhaps you can consult with the developer/support team of the extension. This is beyond our support scope. By the way, if you need our assistance, can you kindly provide us with backend access and FTP access so that we can help you on this issue.

Please advise.
Thanks.

Hello Joseph,

Sorry but I am really lost here. Are you still having issues or not? You mentioned that the issue is caused by the template and firewall?

By the way, the login which you supplied is not working as I am unable to login with the MC Slave user which you have provided. Hitting this error when logging into the back end, http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-12-25_1444.png

Like I said before. I keep my firewall on cause I became a target of a hacker-I found a workaround where everything works fine using the Wnaderer template which I use just for registering and easy social. It was a password issue which I will add here

Hello Joseph,

Hm, sorry but if you look at your reply above, both your sentences are actually contradicting. Your first sentence mentioned that your issue is already resolved but on your second sentence, you are providing us with the password.

If you want us to login to your site, what issues do you have considering that your recaptcha issue is already resolved?
